Yes, if it's a bug then EA help should be able to assist you. As far as I understand, to count a bug, there should be a significant number of affected users. In this case, you only reported this one.
Maybe try to raise a case with EA help again and, on the other hand, please again cross-check with friends/family who might have accessed your account 10 days back.
I could cross check that x amounts of times. I'm 100% certain that no one used my account.
I get that it has to be a fair amount of people to report this bug so they can look into, but the least they could do is to compensate or reverse the situation that I found myself at.
At the end of the day we pay good money for this games and we should be treated accordingly.
