And incase it isn't that, to go truly offline you have to pull out the enternet cable or disconnect WiFi completely so u can't connect to EA servers " Delayed EA servers".
I'm downloading the EA game Apex atm to see what symbols show, I have never played the game but was googling EA servers and there's loads of complaints about delay in that game too.
Apparently there's a symbol that shows input delay.
@NornIron11 Well yeah it would be online. Then it still wouldn’t be a server issue unless it impacts his opponent since they play on the same server.
@RadioShaqs Could EA be looking at the wrong server then because I know the delay is caused by the server we connect to when we start the game. And by the looks of connection tool Rush and rivals are on different servers but again that doesn't matter because it's the server I mentioned that causes the delay.
- @NornIron11 It would be for you and your opponent if it’s a server issue. It’s possible like South Africa had an issue and it wasn’t any other server but they wouldn’t be playing you.
What elitewplayer and gone north have said is what I agree with. The better your connection is and the closer you are to the sever better your gameplay is. This is also said by ea in the help page. They have said closer players have no issue. This means it’s not a server issue that’s where we disagree.
If it was a server issue it would be bad for both. Just because they live farther away doesn’t mean it’s a server issue. It’s just like doing a speed test across the world you will have terrible delay that doesn’t mean that server is bad.
Whenever there has been server issues not one person said a higher ping more packet loss ect gave them a positive experience.
One sided delay is on your connection your setup ect. Server issues would be for both. This is shown by others experience and ea.- @RadioShaqs When playing UT, most games are in the 3-4 ping, every once in awhile I will get a 35 ping connection, that is usally when I play someone in Mexico. What I get is slow and heavy players, while my opponents play like they just did 3 lines of C0ke.
I am 47 miles from the Los Angeles servers, I am on a fiber 500mb connection, so why or how is this my fault?

@RadioShaqsOkay imagine it was true that it's all our connections why is it only EA games and why is it that every test available online says the internet connection is perfect.
Just Google one sided delay and let me know how many games have this problem because the only games I can find are EA.

- @NornIron11 You guys say it’s not everyone’s connection. If you said it’s everyone’s connection then it would be a server issue.
People try to blame one sided delay on every game. Lag compensation is in every game. That doesn’t mean it’s a server issues. Lag compensation benefits the better connection.
This is backed up by people’s experience when servers actually have an issue.
