I am winning 8-0 even on Ultimate Difficulty in Career Mode. Putting in no effort because it’s all so easy. Seems like the difficulty doesn’t actually change from semi pro upwards. I am playing as Chelsea which have a decidedly average team, but it’s no challenge at all.

FC26 career mode is far too easy.. playing on ultimate with Everton and have gone unbeaten for the first half of the season. Tried competitive and authentic but neither put forward any sort of a challenge. 5 goals conceded and 50+ scored.. please can you fix it. I’ve always exclusively bought FC for career mode and this is ruining the game for me!
I have my difficulty at ultimate but its still to easy,the cpu doesn’t even know how go defend,every match ends like 7-0,8-0 even with big teams
In the 10 hour trial, Legendary difficulty was WAYYYYY more challenging than Ultimate in Career Mode with all sliders the same. Career Mode feels broken, every game is a boring win, no matter the opponent.
Playing on "Authentic" sliders and offline, "Ultimate" difficulty is not the slightest bit challenging.
It's not a little easier either... I've logged thousands of hours on FC25 and Fifa 24 with the same settings, and current "Ultimate" difficulty in career mode EA FC 26 is akin to what used to be "world class" or "professional", especially when the AI is on offense.
FC 26 has been modified after last update where Legend and Ultimate difficulty are not a challenge. The time to get the ball back is to low, giving moments where I rob the ball over and over again and the IA is not able to attack.
I've tried with different kind of teams, such as second division and top clubs. Most of the games I've played has been between teams of the same level, but the difference in the pitch is outrageous. Scoring is not a challenge and don't missunderstand me, I don't want to get back to FC 25 where you never couldn't score a header, I just want deffensive IA to be adjusted to be realistic.
My strikers do a run and fullbacks almost never run after them. In high difficulties, doesn't matter how high I configure the tackle agressive slider on the CPU side, they don't make fouls at any kind, not even when should be necessary. Pressure is too slow, allowing me to play how I want, doing passes to the space, passing at first touch... it just seems that IA is not really playing.
I would like to at least Ultimate difficulty to be adjusted to offer a more realistic gameplay alonside the authentic configuration. But this to be related to the play style of each team. I would like to find teams that plays to counter attacks, or just defend parking the bus. I don't see nothing, just the same game plan and the same unchallenging experience.
Goalkeepers is to easy to score on crossing shots.
Just a suggestion. Do the gameplay more like FIFA 16 or FIFA 17, shouldn't be that hard, I mean, you guys developed those games, just get back to the roots. If you can't replicate it, the launch gameplay of FC 25 was also great, until you destroyed with updates, where goalkeepers stopped doing their job and headers got impossible to use.

I've been complaining about the authentic mode difficulty for a while now. I don't know if they're even going to acknowledge it.
