Champions Oppnent Disconnect Match Disconnect - Result Under Review

I have been playing Champions this week and it is utterly unplayayable. I am playing PS5 with a very strong and stable internet connection.

on c. 80% of matches I have played, usually around the 60th minute, but fault randomly, the game has paused and taken me to a screen that says your opponent has disconnected and the match is under review.  Almost without fail this is when I am leading a game (or drawing a few times) but almost never when losing.  This ceases the match with no rewards, coins - nothing (but is did nullify one match of a 1,000 coin boost).

I have wasted hours with this and, quite frankly, it is almost making me want to wholly quit the game.  It also occurs in rivals, but at least coins etc are awarded there.

is anyone else experiencing this?  Is there a fix?  It is utterly unacceptable EA.
