Feature Suggestion
Player Career → Manager Career Continuation
I would like to suggest a feature for Career Mode in EA SPORTS FC 28
When a player finishes their Player Career and retires, I would like to be able to continue playing as the same character, but as a manager.
For example:
- I start a Player Career with a created player.
- I play for many seasons, develop my player, win trophies and build a career history.
- When my player retires, instead of ending the save, I can choose “Continue as Manager.”
- My retired player becomes a manager in the same Career Mode save.
- I could receive job offers from clubs or choose an available managerial position.
- My player’s achievements, trophies, statistics and reputation would remain part of their history.
- The manager could potentially have a unique biography showing their previous playing career.
This would make Career Mode feel much more realistic and connected. It would allow players to create a full football story: young player → professional career → retirement → manager career → potentially legendary manager.
It would also make Player Career much more meaningful because retirement would not have to be the end of the story.
I think this could be one of the best additions to Career Mode and would give players a reason to stay invested in the same save for many more seasons.
