Goalkeeper classified “too old”

In my manager career mode, as soon as goalkeeper turns over 30, they get classified as too old. They’re not allowed to be selected for team play, but they can be sold or purchased regardless of this classification. This doesn’t make any sense. Especially since goalkeepers can play well into their late 30s. It also happens without any warning so in the middle of my season, I suddenly have my starting goalkeeper unavailable. The game doesn’t know any different either and the player will start complaining about not giving playing time, so it’s not like they Auto retired. I really hope this gets fixed as soon as possible.
