Lack of realism in Authentic Mode, AI imbalance, and tactical flaws
DISSATISFACTION REPORT: AUTHENTIC MODE AND AI IMBALANCE
SUBJECT: Critical feedback on realism, difficulty imbalance, and recurring tactical flaws.
FLAWS IN CPU GAME LOGIC (AUTHENTIC MODE)
The base game fails to reflect real-world football. Even in "Authentic Mode", the AI suffers from:
Excessive short passes: The CPU ignores wing play and crosses.
Lack of aerial play: The AI almost never performs lofted passes or switches of play.
Unrealistic Set Pieces: During fouls, the CPU ALWAYS plays a short ground pass. It never crosses the ball into the box.
Lack of fouls: The AI almost never commits fouls, removing real tactical friction.
Game Tempo: The CPU plays at a frantic speed that breaks the simulation.
TACTICAL RIGIDITY
Design flaw: After a red card, the game prevents the user from manually repositioning players (like moving a center-back) to cover the gap. This is unrealistic.
ANNUAL STAGNATION AND SLIDERS
Users should not have to use sliders to "fix" the game. We are tired of receiving the same game with the same bugs every year. We want an optimized game from day one.
DIFFICULTY IMBALANCE
Professional: Far too easy (7-0 scores).
World Class: The AI becomes artificially perfect. The jump feels like 5 levels at once.
