Mentor System for Experienced Players
Dear EA Sports FC Development Team,
First of all, thank you for your continued efforts to improve Career Mode. As a long-time player, I would like to suggest a feature that could add more realism and strategic depth to the game.
Mentor System for Experienced Players
In real football, experienced players play a crucial role in developing younger teammates. Legends such as Luka Modrić, Kevin De Bruyne, Thiago Silva, or Toni Kroos not only contribute on the pitch but also help younger players improve through leadership, professionalism, and daily training.
I believe Career Mode would greatly benefit from a Mentor System where experienced players (for example, aged 30+) could positively influence the development of young talents.
Possible benefits could include:
- Faster growth of specific attributes.
- Increased chances of developing PlayStyles or PlayStyle+ traits.
- Improved morale and professionalism of young players.
- Position-specific mentoring:
- Experienced midfielders improving vision, passing, and decision-making.
- Defenders improving positioning and defensive awareness.
- Strikers improving finishing and movement off the ball.
- Greater long-term value for veteran players in Career Mode.
This feature would encourage players to keep experienced professionals in their squads instead of selling them as soon as their overall rating begins to decline. It would also create a more realistic environment for clubs focused on youth development and academy players.
As someone who enjoys building teams around youth academies, I believe this feature would add a completely new layer of immersion and long-term planning to Career Mode.
Thank you for considering this idea.
Kind regards,
An EA Sports FC Career Mode Player
