Playstyles in Career Mode
In Career Mode, it would greatly improve immersion if young players could develop PlayStyles as they grow.
For example: if a 17-year-old centre-back develops high defensive attributes over time (e.g. 85 Standing Tackle, 84 Defensive Awareness, 83 Interceptions — or a minimum threshold in the attributes related to the Anticipate PlayStyle) by the age of 23–24, it would make logical sense for him to unlock the Anticipate PlayStyle.
This system could apply only to Youth Academy players (and not necessarily to real-life young players already in the database) to preserve balance.
If fully dynamic unlocking is not possible, an alternative could be a training or development system that allows players (academy or real young players) to work toward earning specific PlayStyles over time, according to their position(s).
This would make Career Mode more engaging, rewarding, and immersive, and encourage longer saves beyond 3–5 seasons by giving developed players a clear gameplay identity.
