Seasons Games not counting when opponent quits

Hey Eppaligy​ that isn't great, what did it say when you were not awarded the win?

Was there an error of any kind?

Hey there! 

no - no message. It goes back to the season summary screen and the ‘previous result’ shows as the game prior - as in, the one before the one that is not counting. So it’s like the game never happened; no record of it. 

it seems to be quite a common frustration amongst players. 

We'll pass this onto the team Eppaligy​ as there is nothing more that we can do on the forums in relation to this.

I’m facing the same issue. I have literally played so many games without realising when the opponent quits is don’t get any point ! So frustrating 

I have the same issue as well. It is making Seasons unplayable. I have had more than 30 wins taken from me over the last month due to people quitting when losing. When are EA going to fix this?

Not going to buy FC27

I have been playing FIFA/EA Sports FC for many years, and Online Seasons has always been one of the game modes I enjoy the most.

However, FC 26 is becoming increasingly frustrating because opponents frequently quit when they are losing, and the match sometimes ends without awarding me the win, points, or division progress.

This is extremely discouraging because I can spend 10–15 minutes playing a match, be clearly winning, have my opponent quit, and then receive nothing for the game.

I understand that there may be technical reasons why a match can sometimes be nullified, but from the player’s perspective this is a terrible experience. The player who is winning should not be the one who loses the time and progress.

Please consider implementing a system where, when an opponent disconnects or quits while losing, the player who remains receives the win and the corresponding points/progression.

I have played FIFA/EA Sports FC for many years, and this issue is genuinely making me want to stop playing Seasons. I know one player’s message won’t change the game, but I think it’s important for EA to understand how much this affects the motivation to keep playing.

Please look into this issue and consider giving Online Seasons the same kind of protection against rage quits that competitive modes should have.
