Current state of the game
Dear EA,
I’m sorry to say this, but our initial enthusiasm is fading very quickly, and judging by the comments here it’s certainly not just me. You promised a quick response. At first it seemed that way, but right now the game around content time is completely unplayable again, you can’t even play a first-time pass, and it’s almost as bad as FIFA 25. I don’t know whether you can do anything about it or whether you actually want to, but it’s truly awful.
All attempts to improve have ended with those who sit closer to the server having an even greater advantage than last year (by the way, I have pings around 12 ms, zero packet loss, and a top-tier PC). A defender two metres away from me takes the ball, while mine doesn’t even respond to commands. The state of the game is insane. Until you do something about the servers, the network code, and so on, all efforts are completely futile.
Your solution to the kick-off glitch—with all due respect—is a bad joke. You don’t even seem to notice that after conceding a goal the sliders apparently shift—defense minus 10 and attack plus 10, or something like that—but that is exactly how it behaves. Do the people who work on this even play the game? Do they play it under real conditions, or only in the office with 0 ping?
I don’t want to be toxic; I’m writing because I really love this game and have played every FIFA since the very first one. Whether I’ll stick with this edition until the end of the year, I honestly don’t know.
With highest respect,
A long-time fan of the game
