Fullback player roles don’t work properly

Assigning the attacking wingback role to my fullbacks with the focus on attack does not make them play as shown in the tactics menu, which shows them pushing up the field while my team is in posession.

The tactics board clearly shows both fullbacks up the pitch, but unfortunately this does not happen in the game. They are on the same line with the CB’s not providing any width or passing option. I tried toggling the fullback positioning slider, but that does not solve the issue.

Would really like a fix to this, because in previous iterations, fullback roles worked properly. Assign them to join the attack and overlap, and they actually did that.
