I am requesting a full refund for EA's fake marketing

I am writing this post to formally document my request for a full refund based on False Advertising and Misleading Marketing regarding EA Sports FC.

When I purchased this game, I was sold a vision of "The World’s Game" featuring "Revolutionary HyperMotionV technology" and "unparalleled realism." However, the product delivered is fundamentally different from what was advertised in the trailers and deep-dive pitches.

The marketing promised fluid, AI-driven realism. Instead, we have a product riddled with inconsistent DDA, where player stats seem irrelevant and the outcome feels predetermined. This is not the "skill-based" experience I paid for.

EA continues to market a competitive environment while ignoring input delay and server instability. Selling a competitive online product that lacks the infrastructure to function correctly is a breach of consumer trust.

We’ve seen multiple instances where paid content (Packs) did not match their descriptions. Correcting these errors "after the fact" while keeping the money is a textbook example of deceptive trade practices. This includes the yearly SBC mistakes --- POTM Yamal in Wilson SBC which EA never compensated anything.

I have spent my hard-earned money on a product that feels like an Alpha build rather than a finished AAA title. I am no longer asking for "fixes" or "patches"—I am requesting a full refund as the product does not perform the functions it was advertised to provide.

I encourage anyone else who feels misled by the promotional trailers to join this thread. It’s time we hold companies accountable for
