Keepers

So can anyone make sense of the keepers. My games always have high scoring games. My biggest was 13-14 in division rivals. Every shot just goes in. Even if the keepers are in line with the ball or their hand is in the correct position.  By the time the ball gets there. The keeper places his arms away from the ball. Did ea do this on purpose for high scoring games or just extremely bad developing? I see more saves from pens than actual shot stopping. Its almost non existent
