Matchmaking

Why is matchmaking so awful. Sat for 30 minutes can’t find a rivals or rush game. I get it’s a limited amount of people who got the beta but for some reason I got sent the ps4 version on ps5. I have crossplay turned on yet still no matchmaking. It’s so bad after 10 seconds of searching for opponents it says no opponents found
