Passing is back, ai defending has been toned down which is a good thing, this rewards manual defending and counter attacking game style. Shooting is ok not to bad not to good. All around the game is going back to how it was more or less hopefully the game will return to how it was at the beginning of October but I think ea is on the right track for once. (Only played a few games)
The game will not be back until there is an option to not play the overpowered women players. They do absolutely everything better than their male counterparts.
I hate that we are back to the point where all you have to do is get it to Pina in the box, and spin. “Passing” is not back. If your player isn’t a woman and doesn’t have incisive plus, through balls are trash. “No more AI def” basically just means now you can wait until a fb or cb is inevitably way out of position and then make your pass. There is no skill to that and is the reason for the crazy score lines coming back. Every game is 5-6, 4-5 again
nothing has changed for me ^^ my players are still running arround like headless chickens in defense whenever i need to lose ^^ i know after the first goal who is going to win the game as the players behave differently depending on the result ^^ before the r1 finetuning the game was actually football and now we are playing baskeball fundementals again ^^ passing arround until your shooter is at a good spot and playing transition 1v1 just isn't football.
for me it's the opposite LOL my attackers getting trucked 3m away and no foul given :/
the skill gap has nothing to do with football :/ it's about copying the right tactic as only 3 are playable and if 1 setting is wrong your players run arround clueless ^^ the other skill gap is not to use shots that would go in 1000% in real life but instead make 2 extra passes trough 2 defenders and shoot directly at the keeper as then he's not alloud to save it ^^ also don't ever try to block passing lanes as the pass will just go arround you so you gotta know that you rather ignore every opponent and run towards your own goal to block it on the goal line XD if this is the game you like because of the skill gap you must love EA LOL
Oh yeah, that does happen too. It's like physicality is coded backwards in this game.

Brandy_Brown honestly no but just smart enough to know there is no such thing as manual defending when the ai intercepts & blocks the ball for you. Guess you watch streamers or you are american because if EA made defending actually manual no one would play this game anymore & all the weirdo streamers will be having twice as many mental breakdowns that's a fact.
