No, I don't think describing pack contents simply as "random" gives the full picture. That's only part of the explanation. What about the actual probabilities and PACK WEIGHT behind those random outcomes? Saying "it's random" without addressing how those probabilities are determined doesn't really answer the question.
Pack contents are determined using probabilities. A random outcome does NOT necessarily mean that every individual item has an equal chance of being packed. Different items, ratings and categories can have significantly different probabilities, which is essentially what players refer to as "pack weight."
I understand that two users opening the same eligible pack may be subject to the same underlying probability rules, and this may be entirely consistent with EA's Terms & Conditions. However, that does not mean each user will receive the same results, nor does it mean every eligible item has the same probability of appearing.
That distinction is important. Saying that I have "the same chance as any other user" is very different from saying that I have the same chance of packing ANY ONE ITEM.
After opening more than 200 of the 94+ icon SBC packs over approximately three weeks without seeing certain categories of top-tier cards, I think it's perfectly reasonable to question the PACK WEIGHT and ask whether the probabilities are functioning as intended.
Just to remind you: there are currently many things, including the menus, that simply don't work as intended, and that has been the case throughout this game's entire cycle.
Please note, we are NOT saying that you are scamming us. We are simply asking: can you pls check whether the PACK PROCESSES are working correctly? We genuinely believe there could be a glitch, bug or error affecting the process, especially considering how frequently technical issues have occurred across EA games.
We're not making accusations — we're asking for the system to be CHECKED and for some transparency around whether it is functioning as intended.
