Player animations missing when opening a pack?

Hi

you'll have to bear with me as I don't really know what I'm asking here... my son has FC26 and he's saying the player animations are missing when he opens a new 'pack' ?

He is playing on Nintendo Switch.

I'm not quite sure what he means or what I'm supposed to see... but he's adamant that they are missing.

Is this something FC25 had and FC26 does not ?

can anyone shed any light on this please... thank you
