Second Man Press (R1) not working on some EA accounts – green indicator missing

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue in EA SPORTS FC 26 where Second Man Press (R1) does not work on my EA account.

What happens:

- When holding R1, the green indicator never appears

- The AI player does NOT press the opponent, only stands nearby

- This happens in all modes

- Same PS5 console

- Same controller

- Same settings

- R1 works perfectly when logging in with another EA account on the SAME console.

I’ve already contacted EA Support and the issue has been logged as a bug, but marked as “No Fix Available” for now.

I’m posting here to check:

👉 Does anyone else have this issue where R1 / Second Man Press does NOT work on their account?

👉 Especially if it works on another account on the same console?
