Forum Discussion
Hey SpartanLogan23,
Thanks for taking the time to share this. I’m sorry the move from EA Help to the EA Forums has felt like a dead end.
EA Help handles direct support cases. The EA Forums are where issues and feedback are collected and tracked.
The EA Staff here reads the boards every day and reports trends, feedback, suggestions, and recurring issues to the relevant teams. We do not always reply to every post, even when it has been seen and shared internally.
If EA Help can’t resolve something directly and asks you to post on the EA Forums, that is usually because your report can help highlight a broader issue. Even when there is no public reply, your posts still matter, and your feedback is heard.
We appreciate your and other players' participation on the boards and hope to keep seeing you around!
"no public reply" - that's part of the communication problem. EA may well be acting upon feedback, reports of problems, etc "internally" but it rarely if ever comes out and says such things in public. SpartanLogan23's original post in particular shows what EA should be doing as a minimum for its customers and users. The silence is what really irritates customers / users; oh, and so does referring people to X / Twitter for further info - I know I'm not alone in refusing to use X and when you have forums such as this and a 'News' tab in your own game, use them to inform people about what you're doing to resolve problems, etc.
