Hello. Please follow these instructions:

1. Go to help.ea.com
2. Type EA Account into the search field
3. Select the EA Account tile
4. Click on See more topics
5. Click on 'I need to update my EA account information'
6. Click on the option for chat

Hi, sorry that didn’t help. So frustrating. I just need it unlinked and my son’s account linked. Surprised what a pain this is.

Hello. We have an article for unlinking accounts here. You can also use the 'Contact us' button at the bottom of that page to open a case with an advisor. As long as you can verify you own the account, they should be able to help.

Tried that but the contact us just keeps linking me to an article via a bot when I need to speak to someone to explain the issue. 

Try entering 'update EA account information' in the text field. You should get linked to an article that will also have the option to contact support.

Thanks. Reached out to support but they can’t unlink the account until June. Mad. My son wants to link his account but the whole process was a pain. Anything you can do to help?

Unfortunately, that's not something we can help with. He'll have to wait until June. Also, he should know that all content and progress for all EA games will be lost when the platform account is linked to a different EA account.
