EA SPORTS FC 26 won't launch

Hello,

I am unable to launch EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC. The game has never successfully started and always crashes or returns to the EA App during startup.

System specifications:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070
RAM: 32GB
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI
OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
Secure Boot: Enabled

Errors encountered:

  • “The game fc26.exe exited unexpectedly”
  • Exit code: 0xC0000005
  • “Security Violation (2)” from EA Javelin AntiCheat
  • Sometimes the game returns directly to the EA App after the AntiCheat window appears.

Troubleshooting steps already attempted:

  • Updated BIOS to the latest version
  • Disabled EXPO/DOCP (RAM overclock) in BIOS
  • Disabled Windows Memory Integrity / Core Isolation
  • Reinstalled NVIDIA GPU drivers using DDU (clean install)
  • Tested multiple NVIDIA driver versions
  • Reinstalled EA App completely and deleted all leftover folders
  • Reinstalled EA SPORTS FC 26
  • Repaired / reinstalled EA AntiCheat / EasyAntiCheat
  • Started FC26.exe as Administrator
  • Started the game directly from the installation folder
  • Checked Windows Firewall (allowed EA App and FC26)
  • Temporarily disabled antivirus / Windows Defender
  • Ensured no VPN or proxy is active
  • Verified correct system date and time
  • Reset network settings using:
    • netsh winsock reset
    • netsh int ip reset
    • ipconfig /flushdns
  • Restarted PC multiple times
  • Successfully logged into my EA account through the browser

Current behavior:
The game sometimes reaches the EA login window, but after logging in:

  • sometimes it shows “computer is offline”
  • sometimes it immediately returns back to the EA App.

The game has never launched successfully even once.

If anyone has experienced the same issue or if an EA community manager could investigate this, I would really appreciate the help.

I FINALLY FIXED IT. I found a workaround for the startup crash after EA AntiCheat.

Full credit for the solution goes to this post:
    https://forums.ea.com/discussions/fc-24-pt/ea-fc-24-n%C3%A3o-inicia/7696929

    IMPORTANT:
Before doing anything, make a backup of your original folder (for example by renaming it to "EA SPORTS FC 26 - old"), since it contains your careers, profiles, settings, etc.

The solution is to copy the folder:

    C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26

from a friend whose game launches correctly.

If you don’t know anyone who can share the folder, you can use this one:
    https://drive.proton.me/urls/B0X4MBBZB4#BBUyKm4ZyVpZ

    Steps:

    1. Backup your original folder.
    2. Copy the working folder into:
      C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\
    3. Launch the game.
    4. If EA App asks to repair the game, you can safely do it.
    5. Once the game launches correctly, close it.
    6. Copy back your original folder to recover your careers, profiles, settings, etc.

In my case this completely fixed the issue after days of trying:

    • Windows reinstalls,
    • multiple PCs,
    • AntiCheat,
    • drivers,
    • BIOS,
    • Amazon Luna, etc.
