To avoid seeming contrarian or contradictory, the bleep above c/o ea was because I wrote kneej$rk reaction hahah. Hilarious that this doesn’t make it through the forum but I’ve been called things I just can’t even repeat whilst playing their game. Well done EA. Airtight standards

Yep getting the same issues. No live players on Ultimate, whether trying to play in tournaments or rivals. Rush has ‘teammates joining’ but then the game never starts, either due to ‘teammate has disconnected’ or something blaming the opposition.
Season Online provides the same outcome for me too. I was already somewhat passively playing EA26 before playing a few times recently prior to this (last 4 days).
Not a knee **bleep** reaction per se, but not a chance in heck that I’m purchasing EAFC 27 unless it’s 80% off in Black Friday sales or a free download.
It’s been a progressive fall from grace for this game… perpetual increase in tech issues resulting in game freezing on the menu page, trade purchases being approved before finding out 5 minutes later someone else outbid you after you’d received the ‘green tick’ and the sale had completed, appallingly putrid messaging from competitors which resulted in me turning off comments (I’m thick skinned but anti-semetic, racist and homophobic slurs? Seriously?) and now this… so many fond memories of previous versions… now usurped by tech issues, ludicrous slander and the money grab of a higher tier of objective levels? Turning on 2FA got me connected to UT. Now Season Pass is inaccessible. To see your progress/claim rewards in Season Pass, 2FA has to be off. They borked the game with the most recent update last Tuesday. According to online chat with an agent they are aware of the issue.

Yup. 4 days in a row UT is not possible at this time!!! I want a refund!! Paying for a game that I cannot play!!

Fair point if Season Online works and online matchmaking is fine elsewhere, then it’s probably not a PS5 install or local connection problem. That makes it look more like an EA-side Ultimate Team session/account sync issue. I’d still keep 2FA enabled and avoid reinstalling again, because that clearly isn’t fixing it. Best move now is to report it as an Ultimate Team access/session bug and mention that other users are affected too, so EA can check it server-side instead of treating it like an individual console issue.

What seems to have worked last night is clearing my squad and sending everyone to the club and making a blank squad active through the app. You cannot have 2FA disabled and enter the app, it forces you to enable it.
