Cannot connect to FC26 servers on PS5

Do you know if this is only happening on ps5?

It's the same situation as in Japan.It's been about 9 hours since this morning and it hasn't been fixed.

use cloudflare warp. you are using ooredoo 5g router right? or you can enable upnp 

Same in Maldives with Ooredoo too . 3 days and counting . Same error message! 

I am also experiencing the same thing on ps5 in the UK and there is nothing I have not tried. There is a bug with the fc26 app and only EA can solve it. It feels like they have scammed me into buying this game cause there is no way I can get my money back. The app works fine with mobile hotspot but gaming with mobile hotspot is terrible.

Same here .... Im from south africa and im facing the same issue 

I can connect perfectly to fc25 but fc26 I cannot connect to their servers

Possible fixes for “Cannot connect to EA servers” on PS5 / Hong Kong region:

1. Check EA / PSN server status  

   - Visit EA’s Server Status page to confirm FC 26 servers are up. 6  

   - Check PlayStation Network status for your region (Hong Kong)  

2. Restart everything  

   - Power off PS5 fully, unplug for 30 seconds  

   - Restart your router / modem  

   - Turn back on PS5 and try again  

3. Use a wired connection  

   - Connect PS5 to router via Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi  

   - If Wi-Fi, try switching from 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz band (if available)  

4. Check and set correct DNS / network settings  

   - On PS5: go to Settings → Network → Set up Internet → Custom  

   - Use manual DNS (for Hong Kong / region-friendly): e.g. 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1)  

   - Enable or check UPnP (in router settings)  

   - Make sure NAT type is “Open” or “Type 2” on PS5  

5. Disable VPN / Proxy  

   - If you're using any VPN or proxy, disable it  

   - Sometimes ISPs use proxies or filtering—ask ISP if such is in place  

6. Check firewall or router blocking  

   - Some routers have firewall rules that block gaming ports  

   - Open or forward ports used by EA / PlayStation (TCP/UDP)  

   - Ensure router isn’t blocking outbound connections to EA IP ranges  

7. Clear PS5 cache / rebuild database (safe mode)  

   - Boot PS5 into Safe Mode → choose “Rebuild Database”  

   - This can fix corrupt system data affecting network  

8. Sign out and back into EA / PlayStation accounts  

   - Log out EA account from FC 26, then log back in  

   - Make sure your EA account is properly linked to your PlayStation account  

9. Update system & game  

   - Ensure PS5 firmware is up to date  

   - Make sure FC 26 is the latest patch  

10. Contact your ISP  

    - Ask if there is any routing/filtering issue to EA servers  

    - Sometimes ISPs block or route traffic inefficiently  

11. As last resort, raise a support ticket with EA  

    - Provide your region (Hong Kong), console (PS5), error messages, ISP, and what you have already tried
