Constantly Disconnected after 5 minutes

Since the update on Friday morning, October 10th, I have been getting disconnected from the servers after 5 minutes every single time. Once I reconnect, I get kicked roughly 45-50 seconds in.

This is also happening in Battlefield 6 with the error ERROR CODE 1:85009S, every single time.

I've tried absolutely every possible troubleshooting step, none of which have worked. I even downloaded Skate to see if it would happen, same thing, disconnecting after 5 minutes.

From my understanding, there needs to be a Global Authentication Reset/ Device Binding Flush for Javelin Anti-Cheat.

This is most certainly an issue on EA's side, as I've exhausted all possibilities of it being on the user side.

100% this is the issue. I had this same problem during the Battlefield 6 Beta. I basically turned my PC and network upside down and spent nearly 8 hours troubleshooting this and checking the various back end logs. EA servers need a reset or a flush to reset accounts impacted by this bug. I have tried to submit a case but they have made that pretty inconvenient.

  • Ive had the same issue since release. Tried everything under the sun, including downloading both the EA and steam versions, to no avail. Ive spoken with EA customer service and they have reported it to the dev team but no idea how long it will take to fix. Out of curiosity, what OS are people using. Im on windows 10 and wandering if its exclusive to that or not.

I'm also still on windows 10. Someone else with the issue upgraded to 11 yesterday and it fixed the issue for them, I'm gonna try that today

I have the same problem, both on battlefield and fc 26 like you. That's really incredible.

    Specs:
    cpu: i5-12600k
    ram: 16gb ddr5-5600
    gpu: rtx 3060 12gb
    so: windows 11 pro 25h2, build 26200.6899

I don't know what to do.

  • Hi! I have the exact same issue, I'm not able to play any of EA online games (skate, fc 26 and battlefield 6 exact same issue) I opened a ticket 4 days ago and they answered me that error was detected and that they will work to fix it (ticket closed with "no fix available" reason)

I paid for EA Play Pro last month and this is unacceptable.
I've tried all the suggested solutions on this forum, on Steam discussion threads and reddit. Nothing works.

The very last option is to factory reset windows 11 but nothing warranties that will work.

    IMPORTANT

Hi guys, i solved by changing disk where the game is installated,
I was having the error when my game was installed on the same disk where the os is installed. Then i tried to uninstall and install again in another disk an (for me) worked.

At the moment it's the second day that is working, i hope will still work in the future lool

I have been running it on Windows 11. I also tried playing it on Steam and through the EA App and either way I get the same error. I even went as far as forcing the EA app to be installed on the same drive as my Steam copy which is a different drive than where my OS is installed. I could try doing a Windows 11 OS repair install and see if that resolves it but otherwise I am totally out of ideas.
