After installing EA Sports FC 26 on my PS5, I noticed that the referee’s whistle and certain in-game audio effects are delayed when played through the DualSense controller speaker. Sometimes the sound plays several seconds late, or doesn’t play at all during matches.
This issue only occurs in EA Sports FC 26 — other PS5 games do not have this audio problem. I have tried the following steps, but the issue still persists:
- Restarted PS5
- Reinstalled the game
- Tested with a different controller
- Adjusted controller speaker volume settings
It seems to be a game-related audio bug rather than a hardware issue. Please investigate and consider fixing this in an upcoming patch.
