Disconnected: Unable to connect to the EA servers.

Hey guys,

I'm having trouble with my Ultimate Team mode constantly disconnecting me. I get the message "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online, and try again. Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information". This happens both during SBCs and during gameplay. Sometimes I'll manage to play a full match, only to be disconnected within the 5 or 85 minutes of the next match.

What I've already tested:
- I deleted the AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26 directory;
- I verified the game files;
- I disabled all additional programs;
- I checked my connection quality, and according to https://help.ea.com/pl/help-tools/ea-connection-report/, my score is 98/100;
- The date on the computer is set automatically.

The internet at home works fine - speed test shows a stable 300Mbps, connected via cable, router restarted several times, DNS settings set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (the problem persisted without DNS settings).

What can be wrong?

  • Hi WOJTEKxPL​ Thanks for listing everything you already tested — that rules out a lot. Here are some steps we’d recommend to try if you still experience this issue:

    1. Fully close FC 26, the EA App, and Steam.
    2. Clear the EA App cache data
    3. Create a totaly new squad on the UT Web app and then set it as your main squad before you test the game. 
    4. Before testing another match, go into FC 26 online settings and try this reset once: turn Cross-play OFF, enter an online mode, turn Cross-play ON again, then queue.
    5. Temporarily remove anything that could be filtering the connection path: VPN, antivirus web shield, or firewall rules. Prefer adding exceptions for EA App / Steam / FC 26 rather than leaving security software disabled.
    6. If it still happens, do a full clean reinstall of the EA App, Steam and FC 26.

    No, will post here as soon as it is fixed. I have tried everything it has to be an EA side bug. 
    I was just hoping that they would at least let us know that they're on it or not :/

    Solution:

    Hi guys after many days of trying every single possible troubleshoot and struggling with being disconnected from UT every 5 minutes i have found a fix.

    I had Secure Boot disabled on my PC and i enabled it whilst also resetting the microsoft keys within my BIOS. Since then i restarted my pc and loaded up FC26 and it works perfectly again.

    I hope my fix works for you as it worked for me.

    i am also having this issue have tried everything suggested. been driving me insane. 

  • i have done everything nothing works honestly how do i fix this, ive done all the steps nothing works i even restarted my router and my pc and i also did a format too fully wipe the pc clean and still nothing EA fix this bs please
