Hi,
I’ve followed all of the troubleshooting steps you provided, including repairing Windows using DISM and SFC, performing a clean NVIDIA driver installation, doing a clean boot, confirming that BIOS Mode is UEFI and Secure Boot is enabled, and running the EA App as administrator. Unfortunately, FC 26 is still crashing.
I also checked Event Viewer under Windows Logs to see if there were any additional errors around the time of the crash. I found the following events.
Service Control Manager – Event ID 7040: The start type of the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) was changed from Auto Start to Demand Start.
FilterManager – Event ID 1: The file system filter "eaanticheat" (version 10.0, 2026-08-07T19:42:31.000000000Z) was unloaded successfully.
EA Javelin Anticheat – Event ID 1000: fc26.exe exited unexpectedly with exit code 0xFFFFFFFF.

Community ManagerThanks for trying. Next, I'd like you to get me some Event Viewer logs. Go to Event Viewer > Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > CodeIntegrity > Operational.
Then, launch FC 26 and wait for it to crash. Refresh the log and check for events generated within the last minute of the launch attempt. If you find any, let me know the Event ID and full general text. Especially anything with a .sys, .dll, FC26.exe, EA/Javelin, an unisgned file, an invalid image/hash, or a blocked module.
Also check:
Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > AppLocker > EXE and DLL
and:
Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > Windows Defender > Operational
