EA FC 26 South African Server Issues - Please Fix This Before FC 27

I want to raise the ongoing connection and server issues affecting EA SPORTS FC players in South Africa.

The online experience on FC 26 has been extremely frustrating because of inconsistent gameplay, input delay, lag, jitter, ping spikes and general connection instability.

Even when the pre-match ping appears to be good, the actual match can feel completely different. Players can suddenly feel heavy and unresponsive, passes and skill moves register late, switching players becomes delayed, and defending becomes incredibly difficult.

This is especially frustrating in competitive modes like Rivals and Champions, where connection quality can directly affect the outcome of matches.

This also doesn’t seem to be an isolated problem with one player’s internet connection. Many South African players have reported similar experiences across different locations, ISPs and platforms.

Please address this for FC 26 AND FC 27

FC 27 is approaching, and one of my biggest concerns is that South African players are going to experience exactly the same connection problems again.

We don’t want to buy another FC title only to discover that the same server infrastructure, routing problems, latency issues and inconsistent gameplay have carried over from FC 26.

I would really like EA to investigate the South African online infrastructure before FC 27 launches, rather than waiting until players start reporting the same problems after release.

Please investigate:

• South African/Johannesburg data centre performance and stability
• Routing from major South African ISPs to EA servers
• Ping spikes, jitter and packet loss during matches
• Input delay despite low pre-match ping
• Server performance and capacity during peak hours
• Whether additional or improved server infrastructure is required for Southern Africa
• Whether FC 27 will use the same infrastructure and routing currently causing problems for South African FC 26 players

FC 27 needs to be better

If improvements to South African connectivity are planned for FC 27, please communicate this with the community.

If there are currently no improvements planned, I strongly encourage EA to investigate this before FC 27 releases.

South African players shouldn’t have to spend another entire game cycle complaining about lag, delayed gameplay and unstable connections.

We buy the game, play Ultimate Team, Rivals and Champions, and participate in the same competitive environment as players in other regions. A reliable connection to EA’s servers should therefore be a priority for our region as well.

Please don’t let FC 27 launch in South Africa with the same connection problems we’re experiencing in FC 26.

Fix FC 26, investigate the South African server infrastructure, and make sure FC 27 provides South African players with a stable and responsive online experience from day one.
