Hello, I reinstalled my system, and now I’m experiencing input lag in‑game. There is a noticeable delay/stutter when players turn. I have installed all runtime libraries, the latest GPU drivers, and updated Windows to the newest version, but the problem persists.
My specs: Intel i7‑14700KF, RTX 4070 Super, 2K 144Hz monitor.
When I disable GPU hardware acceleration, my GPU usage drops to only 1%, and the GPU engine switches to GPU‑Copy. When I enable GPU hardware acceleration, it changes to GPU‑3D.
This stuttering, input lag, slow/unresponsive player turning, and inconsistent performance happen regardless of which option I choose.
Should I enable GPU hardware acceleration? How can I troubleshoot this issue?
I have reinstalled the system and followed your troubleshooting steps completely. Windows is fully updated, but the issue still persists. Whenever I pass the ball or perform any action, the game stutters/freezes for a moment. No matter what frame rate I limit it to, it feels like I’m only getting 30 FPS. Is this happening because I’m signed into my Windows account? Could you please help me completely delete and reset all my cloud sync settings to start fresh?
EA_Barry As mentioned above, I haven’t been able to play UT normally for two months. My player reaction timing is completely out of sync with my opponent’s. It feels like my players have lost all intelligence — they just let the ball roll right past them, and there’s absolutely no sense of physical contact between players.
I am experiencing the exact same issue as OP. This won't solve it - this is a server side issue. To double check, I have ran your tests. No integrity violations were found and the gameplay remains exactly the same.
You must know that everyone complains about this. It's not a problem isolated to a few users.
When I run a trace route to EA servers, I find that I am being routed through the US. I live in the UK and have no VPN active. I have no issues with any other game that I play. It is just FC26.
