Frame Rate drops to 1 fps during Cutscenes/Packs/Breaks-in-game.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 
INTEL B580 12GB
16GB DDR4 RAM 3600MHZ 
1TB NVME SSD 
GOT THE GAME ON STEAM PC 

My PC should be able to play this game with a breeze on high settings with at least 100 fps and it does after it stutters in the beginning.

The game is currently lagging during the entrance intro, any cutscenes and break in plays like corners and throw-ins. It will lag for a bit then it will be perfectly fine and I can play the game until the next break at like 120fps. Even in the menu sometimes it drops to 1 fps when opening packs and traversing the menu. 

My settings are already optimized for performance. 

  • Drivers updated
  • Game Bar disabled
  • Power Saving not active
  • Close all other applications 
  • Maximum performance on everything 

Additionally any online mode my controller loses input and I can only play with my keyboard!!

This is very frustrating as EA made us pay extra for their membership for early access from 1pm but it doesn't even work.

    Yes, I’ve got 32GB RAM, Intel core 9 270H, RTX 5070. And the gameplay is so laggy. Surely my specs are good enough.

    Im having the same issue I have a 4060 so that must be enough, game crashed 1 time. Turned off all shadows and other graphics.

    having the same issue on 5090, the match itself is flawless, except for the first kickoff of any half and when it goes to the menu at the halfs end or after the match. Opening packs goes to under 10fps too, not sure whats up. The match itself works fine, or everything else in menus is fine

    I’ve found if you load into a kick off game immediately after launch it loads and plays fine. Quit the kick off game and my ultimate team etc plays without the lag drop etc

    EA, please check this. A lot of us can't play because of this, ryzen 7800x3d, 5070 TI, fps drops during the corners/kickoffs/packs opening, second half becomes unplayable, menu scenes drop to 5 fps

    I found a the way to solve it

    you need to go to settings display and then cutscene performance on full frame rate that should solve the isue

    Try playing the game on DirectX 11 ( in EAapp/Steam game properties type the command -dx11 ) it fixed the issue for me 100% , the reason behind is that FC 26 is poorly optimized on DirectX 12 so rolling back to DirectX 11 will surely solve these memory leaks
