FREEZE then SPEEDUP - 100% disk usage, EA FC PC

During Both Online and offline games, in Clubs and just online friendlies, the game freezes for 0.5 to 15 seconds and then speeds up to catch up.  Only the gameplay freezes totally, during the freez...

I've been facing this same issue for years. At first, I thought it was my system (RTX 4050, 32GB RAM, i7-13700HX), but I just noticed my SSD usage hits 100% right when the game freezes. Hey EA, please help us fix this.
