Game logs out every 5 minutes after connecting

I get this message every 5 minutes, I uninstalled the game, used ethernet and wifi, updated drivers etc, but it continues to do the exact same thing every 5 minutes. Cleared the cache, done everything I could find, any more ideas?

  • Same thing since yesterday, I saw other posts on this forum, from different platforms and regions, support is not responding, so the problem is wide, but not yet resolved

  • I'm having the exact same issue, I've done everything possible to attempt to fix it, but nothing has worked. It's not happening to everyone but the unlucky few. My friend that lives in the same town as me and has the same ISP and is on pc is having no issues, I attempted to use his account on my pc, and it did the same thing. It seems to be out of our control, all we can do is hope EA can acknowledge the issue and fix it quickly. If you have any luck let me know.

Here’s everything I’ve already tried not in order:

    1. Full Windows reset multiple times
    2. Reinstalled EA FC 26 and EA App
    3. Deleted reinstalled repaired EasyAntiCheat
    4. Checked firewall settings and allowed the game through
    5. Updated NVIDIA Drivers
    6. Tried different network connections (Wi-Fi, hotspot, VPN)
    7. Used different EA accounts (my account and a friend’s)
    8. Hard reset network
    9. Disabled 2FA
    10. Deleted ethernet drivers and reinstalled the version listed on ASUS website
    11. Downloaded EA app and EA FC 26 on different drive
    12. Ensuring TPM and secure boot enabled
    13. Clearing cache on EA app
    14. Ran CMD network troubleshoot
    15. Changed DNS

You can attempt some of these and hopefully they work for you, but I unfortunately had no luck.

  • Unable to play the game for more than 5 minutes. I first encountered the issue on April 5th; it has now been 4 days, and I haven't had any luck whatsoever. The issue specifically says, "unable to connect to the EA servers". The issue only seems to be on EA FC 26; I downloaded FC 25 and was able to play with no issues. The issue doesn't seem to affect everyone, a friend of mine that plays on PC, lives in the same city, and has the same ISP isn't having the issue. So, I figured my account was having an issue. I logged into his account, and his account gave me the same problem. Now I'm hoping EA can give more time for the red bull tournament objective and the legacy tournament objective.  I'm just trying to play the **bleep** game after work; EA, please lock in. 😁

Thanks for trying the usual network steps already.

The next thing to try is a full local reset for FC 26 and the EA App, along with a graphics reset:

    1. Close FC 26, the EA App, and Steam ( based on your platform)
    2. Delete this folder: %localappdata%\EA SPORTS FC 26
    3. Repair or reinstall both FC 26 and the EA App.
    4. Start the game again with graphics set to Auto, not forced to Low.
    5. Set Crowd Quality to Medium and restart the game.
    6. If you launch through Steam, open the EA App first before starting FC 26.

One more test you can try:
Temporarily disable Windows Defender Firewall in Advanced Security and check if the 5-minute logout still happens. Turn it back on right after the test.

    Hi EA_Pulsar

Ive tried to do all the steps there, but nothing is actually help. are there any other steps can we try?

i lost so much content in the last three weeks no playing.

  • An EA Supporter told me its a common bug, so we can't do anything against it... We can just wait and hope.
