Graphics settings spontaneously change to high settings. (PC)

I tested this option.
I changed the game settings through the Nvidia app. Then I decided to launch the game using the "Play" button in Steam, although I usually launch the game through the EA app. Once in the game, I checked the graphics settings. Everything was as I had configured through the Nvidia app. Then I played three matches and everything was fine. The settings didn't reset.
I'm continuing to test further.

No, that doesn't help. The graphics settings are set to medium. For example, realistic hair is disabled, but in reality, it's enabled in the game. The same thing applies to cloth. This is what causes lag and choppy gameplay.
What idiot at EA even decided to implement these graphical features on such a crappy game engine?

The problem has existed since the beginning and was labeled as solved here, which isn't true. The suggested solution they gave us was to simply delete your profile and create a new one, so that all graphics settings would be saved. Unfortunately, they don't do that! The game lags endlessly, and the graphics settings are changed every time.
