When the game automates certain movements it will not respond to actual controller input. It happens many times where I try to switch to a player only to be holding on the RT/R2 button but my player will have a one second delay and walk for three steps before he will start sprinting even though i pressed RT/R2 three times wondering why he is still walking. Gameplay is complete and utter trash. Anticipating passes is a joke as the auto passing feature literally curves the ball around. Gameplay is utter trash and embarrassing. Rocket League controls are 100 times better. Thats absolutely shameful.

Dude, fix your server. Been running in mud since the newest update, and by the way your input delay is back.

Since the latest patch there's a image/input delay in every online 11v11 (pro clubs league games, seasons, UT, etc.) that appeared initially in the game around October and that was later patched last year.
Essentially, in every solo 11v11 there is a 4-5 second delay in inputs. In co-op 11v11 there is a 9-10 second delay.
I mentioned "image" delay because I can play 11v11 pro clubs only if I look at my friend's - who's playing the same match in my team - stream in discord, in my second monitor. So while in my main monitor the game seems to be running with a very long delay (9-10 seconds, as referred), i can only play if i'm solely focusing on my second monitor, where his stream is showing.
What's even weirder is that what is happening in my screen/main monitor, where the game is running, (that already had happened in the server, due to said delay) affects my ability to control the player even through the second monitor/ while watching the stream - here's an example to clarify: if there is a goal celebration cutscene that is running in my main monitor (which already happened in real life/ the server, because i'm playing with 9 second delay), I can no longer assume controls in real time (i.e., I can momentarily no longer control my player while that cutscene is running when I'm looking at the second monitor, where the game is running in real-time, through my friend's discord stream).
Before this patch i only lost control over my player in pro clubs 11v11 league games when i was celebrating - where the game, during the celebration, would only register the last bind, generally making my player run to goal or to the sidelines of the pitch. Now, it's unplayable, just like in October before being patched.
As of right now, the only game modes which I can play without any sort of input delay are Rush and offline modes (squad battles and career mode).
PS: running the game in 1080p with 60fps v-sync on slightly fixes, but there's still a 2 second delay during the majority of the game.
