Low Ping on UT, High ping on clubs

Hey chewierrock625​ when you see this issue is it at the same time of the day that you are trying both modes?

Could be that you are running into connection or bandwidth issues and time of day can have an impact on this.

hello EA_Darko​ it is the same time, was playing UT, friends came on, switched to it and immediately got way higher ping. I usually have 8-20 ping on UT, and used to be the same on clubs as well until the latest update. 

Does your friend have the same issue when they join you chewierrock625​?

I'd recommend that you both take a look at the connection troubleshooting steps

Surprise surprise, EA says implies it couldn’t be on there end surely 🤣🤦‍♂️ wtf we even doing anymore

In most cases kcusack9​ these kind of connection issues are network or ISP based so troubleshooting the home network is the best place to start.

It may not be the answer you want but it's the truth and it generally can be improved by following some steps.

Oh yeah? Like resetting console and modem. Done it. Like removing profile from console and re adding it? Done it. Uninstall the game and reinstall? Done it. Turn on or off 2fa? Tried it. The only mode I can’t access is clubs. But yeah after all that… you might not want to hear it…. But it’s EA, as it always is. It’s embarrassing you guys constantly try to blame your customers for your failures. Oh, and btw… clubs still doesn’t work

start of the game (september) my ping 4-8, 2 weeks ago it went to 12-18. NOW its 22-28 they keep turning off the DALLAS Servers and bunching us up into a different server to save money....

Understand the frustration kcusack9​ but I'm only trying to help. Generally if the issue is game side then we will be seeing a huge number of reports, so with that in mind when we see something like this we need to troubleshoot.

One mode in-game not working does not mean it is game side, connection and ISP are still as likely to be the cause. How your ISP routes your data is a major part of online gaming and with that in mind can you try the steps in the link I shared.
