No commentators PS5/LG Monitor

No matter the selection of in-game audio options, I cannot get the commentators to be heard. I am going straight from a PS5 to an LG monitor on HDMI. Nothing in between, just a single HDMI cable. The PS5 is set for TV output; I have no other option. I have done the volume swapping trick in game and I have adjusted every slider and on/off option and nada.

Am I missing something (besides the announcers)?

There was one thing I did have to change on the PS5 to get the announcers to work. On the PS5, in the Settings > Sound > Audio Output menu , I changed the HDMI Device Type from TV to AV Amplifier, which allowed me to change the number of channels. When on just TV, the channel options were greyed out. As soon as I changed it to AV Amplifier (even though I don't have one) and the channels to 2 ch, I was able to hear the announcers.
Maybe someone else with just a PS5 to TV via HDMI can use the options I did to get their setup to work? Hopefully. Thanks for taking the time to reply., EA_Pulsar, I appreciate it.

Hey DingoWoundz This kind of issue usually occurs when the audio output is set to surround sound (5.1 or 7.1) instead of stereo. Please check your game, console, and TV audio settings to make sure everything’s configured correctly.
If possible, try testing the sound with headphones to see if there’s any difference.
