For me it was actually having setting on my gpu changed through the nvidia app such as power performance, smooth motion and some others, defaulting it resolved my issue.

PC EA APP - Failed To Launch Game Try Again Later

I played about 20 hours of the game and then one day the game just refuses to launch.

Things I did

Verified Game files
Repaired APP and Anti-cheat, Also reinstalled both along with the game
Clean boot of windows no other programs running except EA APP, AntiCheat and the game
Reinstalled the game, reinstalled on a different drive
New windows user
Updated graphics drivers/ AMD chipset software
Uninstalled random things on my PC that I dont use much that i thought might interfere
Cleared Catch on APP
Deleted all temp files on pc and cleaned drives
Made Antivirus allow all executables for anti-cheat and ea fc 26

PC Specs

AMD RYZEN 9 9900X3D

NVIDIA RTX 5080

ROG STRIX B850-F GAMING

Windows 11

Game was redownloaded on 870 EVO 2TB

For me it seems defaulting all the graphics setting in my nvidia app fixed it, I had a few things changed globally to make gpu perform better but I guess the game doesn’t like it, even though it was working fine with them on for about a week.

After troubleshooting for an hour I figured out exactly what the issue is. Turn off Smooth Motion in the Nvidia APP global settings and keep everything else as you normally have it for the global settings. Smooth Motion is the culprit here.

If you have MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner Statistics Server open, you need to close them for it to launch.
