PSN account hacked – FIFA 2026 linked to unauthorized EA account
Hello,
My PSN account was hacked. The hacker purchased FIFA 2026 and linked my PSN to their EA account (partial email: ge*****@unrepgeka.com).
I decided to keep FIFA 2026 and not request a refund because my son is a big football fan. After playing for a while, he wanted to play online, which required linking the game to an EA account – unfortunately, it became linked to the hacker’s EA account.
I did not have an EA account before the hack, so I created a new EA account to try to link my PSN. However, I cannot link it because my PSN is already connected to the hacker’s EA account.
I contacted EA Support via chat, but they asked many confusing questions. In the end, their answers did not resolve the issue. I believe they were trying to validate the answers against the hacker’s account, which of course I cannot access. I also provided proof of payment, but this apparently was not considered relevant.
I have proof of purchase and can verify my PSN ownership.
Has anyone successfully recovered a hacked PSN-linked EA game in a similar situation? What steps worked for you to get the game transferred back to your own EA account?
Thank you for any guidance.
