Unable to connect to servers

Hi, i've not been able to connect to the ea servers via wifi for almost 2 weeks at this point. I can however play any other online game and stream something on netflix without any issue using that same connection. The only way i can connect to the servers is by using the hotspot from my phone (which makes actually playing online, and not just connecting and going through the menu, actually impossible since it's not nearly strong enough). It's really weird because i haven't changed anything on my connection and i did not have any problems playing until then. It's also definitely not because my internet connection is not strong enough, because i've bought a repeater now to make it stronger but that did not change anything. Please help
