Unable to play clubs at all (PS5)

I’ve been having an issue today where i have to go to the bench and wait till the 5 minute mark to join. It worked one time but everytime after that it just has me sitting in a screen until one of the teams forfeits. I’ve tried being the captain but it just searches on forever but as soon as I go to the bench my friends find a game instantly. 

Yes I’ve tried updating the game and closing the application but even that hasn’t worked for me. Any help at all would be nice, haven’t been able to play clubs the past couple days because of this.
