Bro, welcome to the club 😄
If I were you, I wouldn’t burn through appeal after appeal right now. Judging by what happened to me and several other guys here, the Penalty Team honestly seems to not give a s* about what you actually write**. You can explain the trades in detail, ask them to review your market history, change the wording of your appeal — and you’ll still get almost the same template responses back.
Mine started as “Balance Transfer,” and after several appeals the wording in their replies eventually turned into simply “cheating.” So instead of identifying the transaction, you end up being labelled a cheater. Don’t be surprised if your case starts following the same script.
So personally, I wouldn’t spam the appeal system yet. If your country gives you access to a legal/formal dispute route, read the posts from TruxtonSpangler1. He explained how he went above the normal Penalty Team and took the matter to EA Legal. At this point, that honestly seems more useful than having another conversation with the same appeal system.
And honestly, there are getting to be too many of us for this to keep looking like a few isolated mistakes. We should probably start a simple public table: user, platform, what they were doing on the market before the ban, sanction reason, number of appeals, and outcome.
We already have more than one, two or three similar cases here — and we have no idea how many people this happened to who never even came to the forum.
You bought three or four Puyol cards and flipped them. If normal manual trading of four cards can end with a permanent market ban, then the problem is clearly bigger than one account.
