Wrongful 14-Day Ban with No penalty Record, No Way to Appeal

Hi, my EA ID is Shawntheboy27.   Email:[edit: email address removed]

I recently received a notification that my account has been suspended for 14 days. However, when I checked my account history there are no violation records. Without any evidence or case details, I have no way to submit a meaningful appeal.

I have never used cheats and have always relied on my own skills and passion for the game. I report cheaters when I encounter them, but those reports are often ignored. Being punished without explanation is extremely disheartening for a loyal player.

Please review my case, provide the evidence for the suspension, and reopen an appeal channel. I ask EA to treat loyal players fairly.

Thanks,
Shawntheboy27

  • EA_Kent my EA ID: Acejokercyc , I am writing to appeal the recent 14-day suspension of my account from EA SPORTS FC™ online services and No penalty Record, No Way to Appeal .I believe this action was taken in error, as I have never used cheats, third-party software, account sharing, or any unfair gameplay methods. I always play fairly and follow EA’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

A possible reason for this misunderstanding is related to my network environment. Since I am located in mainland China, I must use a network accelerator (VPN) to connect to EA servers. These VPN services frequently change their nodes and routing paths, which results in my IP address being inconsistent. This may have triggered the system to mistakenly flag my account. Please note that this is purely due to technical conditions and not misconduct.

In addition, I would like to address the part of the suspension notice that mentioned farming matches to gain rewards.

First, I have never used any external software or tools to alter player data or manipulate matches. Second, when I was playing Division Rivals, I consistently stayed in Division 4. During the period after the release of the Ultimate Edition of FC 26 and before the Standard Edition was released, I often matched against the same opponents repeatedly on the Hong Kong servers due to the limited player pool at that rank. This may have led the system to mistakenly flag my account for farming matches. However, I want to emphasize that I never colluded with these players to exchange goals or rewards. All my games were played normally and competitively.

Lastly, I also want to mention that recently, a typhoon affected the southern coastal region of China, causing unstable internet connections in my area. This sometimes resulted in disconnections during matches. I am concerned that this may have been misinterpreted by the EA system as me intentionally quitting matches.

I contacted EA's customer service last Friday and they helped me establish a new case. However, they told me that it would take at least 72 hours to forward it to their TOS team, and their team would reply to me within 10 days. But I estimate that by the time they contact me, I will have reached the 14 day lockdown period...
