My main gripes at the moment are with the transfers: I’ll have a player on my shortlist, make an enquiry but by the time the selling club comes back and tells me they’re not for sale the player has moved somewhere else without warning. The enquiry response needs to be far quicker and there needs to be a notification about a competing bid to give me time to react. Maybe skip the enquiry stage if there’s another bid live?
I’d also echo the point on youth prospects not getting loan offers: a 62 OVR player with a high potential who’s forced his way into my first team squad isn’t going to play games in my first team but they get zero interest when I list them for loan. Might be because I don’t have any lower leagues active in my save but it would be a waste of the simulation slots to activate League 1 and League 2.
The randomness of the dynamic OVRs - great idea but they’ll go up and down by ~15 from match to match. Very frustrating.
Niche point but I’m playing as Sheffield United and twice it’s made me play in my home kit (red & white stripes) against teams essentially in the same kits (Southampton and Sunderland). Additionally, the PL kit numbers are applied in black on the dark red kit after promotion so they’re not really visible.
All-in-all it feels like CM wasn’t finished in time for the release date. There’s no money in it for EA so I presume we’re reliant on their goodwill (lol) to get these things fixed?
Today there was a new update which fixes the bug that players secretly make a transfer request. When can we expect the fixes of the other bugs I mentioned in this post? I want to start my new career. Every year I can’t start my career before mid of October, that’s really annoying!!!EA_Darko
