Player Transfer Requests & Playtime
Player Transfer Requests & Playtime: Please Add a Playtime Tolerance Setting
I really enjoy Career Mode in EA SPORTS FC 27, but the current player transfer-request system is making it difficult to manage a large squad realistically.
Players seem to become unhappy and request a transfer very quickly when they do not receive enough playing time. This is especially problematic at big clubs with deep squads, where rotation is absolutely necessary.
A key player should be able to sit on the bench or miss several matches without immediately wanting to leave. In previous FIFA games, it felt much more natural. Important players could accept rotation, especially when they were still receiving regular minutes over the course of the season.
I saw EA mention that you are already reviewing how quickly players can request transfers because of their playing time. I really appreciate that this issue is being looked at.
However, I think there could be an even better solution:
Add a “Playtime Tolerance” setting to Career Mode
For example:
- Low – Players become unhappy quickly and demand more playing time.
- Normal – Current/default behaviour.
- High – Players are more patient with rotation.
- Very High – Similar to the more forgiving system in older FIFA games.
There is already a similar concept in Career Mode. For example, in Board Expectations and Transfer Negotiations, players can choose different difficulty levels such as Easy, Normal and Strict.
Why not introduce the same principle for player playing-time demands?
This would allow every player to decide how aggressively they want the player-satisfaction and transfer-request system to work.
A Playtime Tolerance setting would solve this without removing the feature entirely.
Please consider adding a Playtime Tolerance setting, similar to the existing Easy/Normal/Strict options for other Career Mode systems, or significantly increasing the amount of time players can tolerate reduced playing time before requesting a transfer.
Career Mode would feel much more realistic, flexible and enjoyable as a result.
