Spending Money in FC 27 Doesn't Feel Worth It

I've been playing since Early Access and have spent over $3,000 USD on FC Points.

Honestly, I don't see any advantage in spending money on this game anymore.

The pack returns are terrible, and after opening countless packs, it still feels impossible to build the squad I want. Spending money should at least feel rewarding, but right now it just feels like throwing money away.

Another issue is the objectives.

Why are we constantly forced to play AI matches every day?

This is a football game. Most of us just want to play Rivals, Champs, Rush, or other online modes. The objectives should fit naturally into gameplay instead of feeling like daily chores.

And can we talk about Erling Haaland?

He's one of the best strikers of this generation, yet many of his cards feel average and become outdated almost immediately. A player with his achievements should feel like a top-tier superstar in-game, not just another pack filler.

My feedback is simple:

  • Make spending money feel worthwhile.
  • Stop forcing players into repetitive AI objectives.
  • Give elite players like Haaland cards that actually reflect their real-world status.

Curious if other players feel the same.

    It is common knowledge by now that you are not supposed to spend money on fc points. They want to prevent pay to win. 
    About all of your post, I agree. They are insanely missaligned with what casual players want. 
    After a week I have already decided this will be the last FC I buy. L1 runs are ridiculous this year and lofted pass doesn’t work. I did not get the flick up glitch but that is even more astounding. 

    So many different games pushed into one. 
    career, manager, clubs and all those others could be separate games. Making the real game less heavy and likely buggy. But yeah. I cannot get my money back from Sony so I will play some offline career I think.
