EA SPORTS FC – IMMORTALS
A New Ultimate Team Card Category Beyond ICONs
I have an idea for a completely new and extremely rare Ultimate Team card category called IMMORTALS.
These cards would not be ICONs, Heroes, or regular special cards. They would belong to an entirely separate category reserved for three legendary football players:
Cristiano Ronaldo
Lionel Messi
Neymar Jr.
- LIVING CARDS - REAL CAREER FOOTAGE
Instead of static player images, IMMORTAL cards would feature continuously looping video footage of legendary moments from each player’s career.
The videos would always play directly on the cards, including in squad screens, pack openings and other Ultimate Team menus.
Every IMMORTAL would have a unique animated design.
- EXCLUSIVE CINEMATIC PACK ANIMATIONS
Players would immediately recognize that they had packed an IMMORTAL before knowing which player they received.
The animation would begin with a completely black screen, followed by a cinematic sequence showing the player’s career journey.
For example, Cristiano Ronaldo’s animation would show:
Sporting CP - Manchester United - Real Madrid - Juventus - Manchester United - Al-Nassr
Legendary goals, trophies, celebrations and authentic commentary would appear before the final card reveal.
Messi and Neymar would receive their own unique career animations.
- UNIQUE CHEMISTRY ABILITY
IMMORTAL cards would automatically provide maximum chemistry (3/3) to every directly adjacent player in the squad formation.
This would work regardless of nationality, league or club.
- PERMANENTLY UNTRADEABLE
IMMORTALS would have special ownership rules.
- Always untradeable
- Impossible to quick-sell
- Cannot be submitted into SBCs
- Only obtainable through packs
- Extremely rare
These cards should feel like permanent trophies rather than ordinary Ultimate Team items.
- WHY IMMORTALS WOULD BE SPECIAL
Ultimate Team already celebrates football history through ICONs and Heroes.
IMMORTALS would take that concept further by celebrating legendary careers through animated collectibles, authentic football footage and exclusive cinematic experiences.
Packing an IMMORTAL should feel like a once-in-a-lifetime Ultimate Team moment.
The goal is simple:
Don’t just give football legends another card. Give them something that feels as legendary as their careers.
Thank you for considering this community concept!
