Evolutions and FUT Content in EA SPORTS FC 27

I am writing this because I am genuinely extremely disappointed with the direction you are taking FUT and the Evolution system.

I actually skipped FC 26 because I became so frustrated with the way FUT was handled, especially the menus, content structure and the overall feeling that players were not being listened to. I decided to come back for FC 27 hoping things would improve, especially Evolutions, because the system has so much potential.

But today’s “Trust the Keeper” Evolution was honestly the final straw for me.

We wait all day for the content reset, hoping for an Evolution that can actually improve our squads, and then we receive an Evolution for goalkeepers with a maximum 74 overall requirement that ends around 79 overall. Seriously, EA — what is the point of this at this stage of the game?

Evolutions should be one of the most exciting parts of Ultimate Team. They should allow us to take players we actually care about and develop them into competitive cards. Instead, many of the Evolutions feel extremely limited, underpowered or completely irrelevant.

There are so many players sitting around 72–80 rated who could become fun and usable cards if you released meaningful Evolutions. Give us Evolutions that take these players to 82, 83, 84 or higher when appropriate. Give us useful stat increases, PlayStyles, position upgrades and Evolutions that actually change how a card performs.

Not everyone wants to use the exact same meta players. Some of us build national teams, themed squads or use players we genuinely like. Evolutions should support that creativity instead of constantly restricting it.

I personally build an Argentina squad, and there are so many players who would become incredibly fun with the right Evolutions. Players such as Claudio Echeverri, Thiago Almada, Ángel Correa, Leonardo Balerdi and many others are perfect examples. This is exactly what the Evolution system should be made for.

Please stop treating Evolutions like filler content just so something appears at the daily reset. Quality is much more important than simply releasing another Evolution.

FC 27 has the potential to have the best Evolution system you have ever made, but right now it feels like that potential is being wasted.

I came back after skipping FC 26. I want to enjoy this game, but content like today’s Evolution is exactly the kind of decision that made me walk away before.

Please listen to your FUT community and start releasing Evolutions that are exciting, meaningful and actually worth waiting for.

We want better Evolutions. We want more variety. We want more freedom to build our own unique teams. And most importantly, we want Evolutions that actually make players usable.
