Incorrect Game Edition Shown in EA App for Steam FC 27 Purchase
I am writing to report a cross-platform license synchronization issue regarding my pre-order of EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus Edition purchased through Steam. My Steam purchase record and game library both confirm that I have bought the Ultimate Plus Edition of the game. However, when I check my owned products inside the EA App, my account is only listed as owning the Ultimate Edition.
I first contacted EA customer support about this discrepancy. I was advised to reach out to Steam Support to verify my purchase record and synchronize the correct edition entitlement information.I then contacted Steam Support and provided my purchase documentation. Steam advised me that entitlement adjustments for EA-linked accounts need to be processed by EA’s internal systems, and recommended I follow up with EA again for resolution.
Currently the license information between the two platforms has not been fully synced. I hope the EA team can look into my linked account, review the entitlement data pulled from Steam, and correct the game edition status so I can receive all content for the Ultimate Plus Edition that I purchased.I would also appreciate it if other players who have experienced similar Steam-EA sync issues could share how they resolved this problem.
Hey folks,
I just wanted to let you know that we've made some changes and in the EA app, it should now state "Ultimate Edition pre-ordered through Steam" instead of "Standard Edition pre-ordered through Steam".There might also be some confusion with the Steam library only displaying the Standard Edition artwork regardless of the edition purchased.
If you want to double-check whether you purchased the correct Ultimate or Ultimate Plus Edition, you can check your Steam Purchase History.
