A dark rectangular transparent stuff

Any time I am playing my ultimate game during online play there is this dark rectangular transparent stuff that appears. Once I am playing when it appears on my online ultimate mode my pad controls don’t function until the stuff disappears which is really frustrating and making me loose matches cus at that point in time I won’t be able to control and it kind of a little bit difficult to view at that point in time. It is really frustrating as I just installed the game for game play.
